Dual Temp, a leading mechanical contractor in Eastern Pennsylvania, needed a better way to build its workforce and standardize training across techs of all levels. With the skills gap making it hard to hire experienced technicians and COVID-19 disrupting operations, the company turned to Interplay Learning and its SkillMill™ courses and assessments to create a more structured training approach and career advancement path.
Interplay Learning worked with Dual Temp to build customized learning paths, add due dates and assignments, and upload Dual Temp’s own training videos into the SkillMill™ platform. The result was a standardized career ladder program with clear goals, steps, benchmarks, and accountability, along with new feature improvements to the platform. Dual Temp also saw renewed engagement, with technicians returning to training, and expected stronger month-over-month service performance as the program rolled out.
