A Interlake Mecalux Case Study
Agata, one of Poland’s leading furniture distributors, needed a larger, more efficient warehouse to support the growth of its retail network and manage a wide range of pallets with different rotations, sizes, and weights. To solve this challenge, it worked with Interlake Mecalux on a new logistics centre in Majków Duży, using a pallet racking system designed for direct access, better stock control, and faster order preparation.
Interlake Mecalux implemented a mix of single- and double-depth pallet racking, with 8.5 m and 9 m-high racks spanning about 287 m. The system doubled Agata’s storage capacity to more than 50,000 pallets, improved space usage, and streamlined picking and dispatch operations, while supporting pallets up to 2,600 kg.
