Coca-Cola Refrescos Bandeirantes, a Brazilian Coca-Cola bottler and distributor, needed to substantially expand storage capacity at its Trindade (Goiás) distribution centre while also modernizing order-picking operations to keep up with growing production and demand. To meet this challenge, the company worked with Interlake Mecalux and implemented a mix of high-density storage and picking solutions, including drive-in racks and Pallet Shuttle racks.

Interlake Mecalux designed a customized layout combining 11 drive-in rack blocks, two Pallet Shuttle rack blocks with pick tunnels, double-deep pallet racks, and live picking channels. The result was space for more than 9,000 pallets, with the ability to process 3,000 orders per day, improving storage efficiency, pickability, and overall warehouse productivity.
