VST Two Versatile Systems to Prepare 200 Orders a Day

Cooperative VST, a French workers’ cooperative serving around 750 members, expanded its logistics center in Les Essarts to support continued growth and handle a highly varied inventory of 13,000 SKUs. To make better use of space and improve storage and picking efficiency, VST worked with Interlake Mecalux to equip the facility with a combination of Movirack mobile racks and multi-tier wide span shelving.

Interlake Mecalux implemented three blocks of Movirack mobile racking and five aisles of wide span shelving to separate pallet storage from unit picking, while optimizing the available floor area. The result is capacity for 6,318 pallets and 6,900 boxes, with VST now preparing about 200 orders per day and dispatching them through 12 loading docks more efficiently.
