Viñas Familia Gil, a Spanish wine producer with 12 wineries and sales in more than 40 countries, needed a larger and more controlled logistics operation to manage up to 700 SKUs and around 12 million bottles. To support this growth, the company worked with Interlake Mecalux to improve warehouse capacity, traceability, and dispatch efficiency, using a new central warehouse in Jumilla.

Interlake Mecalux equipped the facility with the Pallet Shuttle system, pallet racks, and Easy WMS warehouse management software integrated with the company’s ERP. The solution enables FIFO stock control, real-time visibility, and precise management of goods in and out, helping Viñas Familia Gil cut storage costs per SKU, handle about 250 pallets a day, and ensure on-time, fully traceable wine distribution.
