Two Storage Systems Achieve Maximum Use of Space, Optimal Organisation and Turnover of the Canned Goods at Connorsa

Connorsa, a Spanish canned fish and seafood producer founded in 1985, needed to expand storage capacity and improve warehouse efficiency as exports grew across Europe. Interlake Mecalux was brought in to equip its Vilaboa warehouse in Galicia with a storage system suited to both batch-tracked products and finished pallets ready for shipment.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a hybrid solution combining pallet racking with two blocks of Movirack mobile pallet racking. This setup gave Connorsa 8,600 pallet positions, organized by turnover and demand, while improving access, stock control, and operational agility. The Movirack system also included safety features and automated controls to support efficient, uniform movement and longer equipment life.
