Two Freezer Installations With Movirack Mobile Racks Keep Iberfresco's Deep Frozen Vegetables in Top Condition

Iberfresco, a frozen food producer and distributor in Spain, needed to stop spreading inventory across multiple warehouses, which was complicating management and driving up operating costs. To solve this, Interlake Mecalux was brought in to design a new cold-storage facility for more than 28,000 tons of frozen goods per year, using a high-density storage system.

Interlake Mecalux equipped the 32,292 ft² warehouse in Olmedo with 22 Movirack mobile racks, creating capacity for 9,681 pallets while keeping direct access to every pallet. The solution maximized available space, streamlined operations with remote-controlled aisle opening, and enabled Iberfresco to store all of its products in a single installation at a constant -11 °F.
