Case Study: Groupe Alainé boosts pallet storage and productivity with Interlake Mecalux Pallet Shuttle

The Warehouse of the Logistics Operator Grupo Alainé in France

Groupe Alainé, a logistics operator based in Mâcon, France, needed to expand storage capacity to support a customer’s new production line and rising throughput. Interlake Mecalux provided a semi-automatic Pallet Shuttle solution for the new 8,000 m² area.

Interlake Mecalux equipped the warehouse with 18 rack blocks using the Pallet Shuttle system, enabling deep-channel storage and remote-controlled pallet handling. The installation now stores 20,397 pallets in channels up to 43 m deep, improves space utilization and operator productivity, and supports the loading and unloading of about 2,500 pallets per day.
