Steris, a company specializing in medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic sterilisation, needed to expand its logistics capacity and improve service quality at its French operations. With its Marseille warehouse unable to support further growth, the company turned to Interlake Mecalux to automate a new distribution center in Chusclan, using an automated warehouse and Easy WMS warehouse management system.

Interlake Mecalux equipped the 4,140 m² facility with an automated warehouse, conveyors and two stacker cranes, enabling real-time control of goods and fully automated handling. The solution doubled Steris’ initial storage capacity to 1,000 pallets, improved safety and traceability, and supported continuous 24/7 operations for faster, error-free sterilisation and dispatch.
