A Interlake Mecalux Case Study
RADEC, an automotive components and aftermarket spare parts company in Mexico, needed to expand storage capacity and improve efficiency at its Guadalajara distribution centre as growth created a space shortage. To meet rising demand and support up to 1,800 daily orders, RADEC worked with Interlake Mecalux to redesign its warehouse using pallet racks and shelving with walkways.
Interlake Mecalux implemented a high-density storage system with pallet racks and four-level shelving with walkways, giving direct access to goods and improving stock control and picking. The renovated 22,000 m² warehouse now provides 42,884 storage locations, supports 300–400 pallet receipts per day, and enables RADEC to prepare 1,400–1,800 orders daily with greater productivity and less product damage.
