The Perfect Solution for Storing Extra-long Profiles

Gaviota Simbac, a leading Spanish manufacturer of smart blinds and awnings, needed to modernize its warehouse in Villena to handle rapid growth, a wider SKU range, and the daily preparation of around 450 orders. To support its expanding logistics operations, the company worked with Interlake Mecalux to redesign storage for extra-long profiles, pallets, and components.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a tailored mix of cantilever, pallet, and drive-in racking systems, allowing Gaviota Simbac to organize goods by size, weight, and turnover while improving access for picking and shipping. The new setup provides capacity for 3,480 profile loads, 11,000 pallets, and 840 drive-in pallet positions, helping the company manage 17,400 SKUs and dispatch about 600 pallets and 150 profile packs per day with greater speed and control.
