The Distributor Cogeferm Combines Automated and Manual Systems in Its New Paris Logistics Centre

Cogeferm, a French distributor of locksmith supplies and accessories, needed to equip its new logistics center near Paris with storage systems tailored to a wide variety of products in boxes and pallets. Interlake Mecalux provided the design, supply, and assembly of the warehouse systems, along with its Easy WMS warehouse management system to control incoming goods, order picking, and dispatch processes.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a mix of solutions including an automated miniload warehouse, carton flow and pallet flow racking, pallet racking, static shelving, cantilever racking, and conveyor systems. The setup delivers 5,320-box miniload capacity, 1,400 box positions in flow racks, and 648 pallet positions, while Easy WMS gives Cogeferm full operational control and automation of internal movements, helping reduce logistics costs and improve picking efficiency.
