The Bike Manufacturer BH Bikes Automates the Storage of Pallets and Boxes in Its New Logistics Centre in Vitoria

BH Bikes, a Spanish bicycle manufacturer with more than 100 years of history, needed to centralize logistics after rapid growth left its products spread across several outdated buildings. To meet rising demand and reduce operating challenges, the company worked with Interlake Mecalux and its Easy WMS warehouse management software to plan a new automated distribution center.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a logistics hub combining an automated pallet warehouse for bulky goods, a miniload warehouse for spare parts and accessories, and dedicated picking, consolidation, and dispatch areas. Controlled by Easy WMS, the installation centralized operations, lowered logistics and labor costs, and improved service quality, reducing errors by 99% while providing capacity for 2,358 pallets and 3,672 boxes.
