SMA Magnetics, a manufacturer of electromagnetic components for the power, automotive, and transportation industries, needed to automate and expand its logistics to keep up with growing production at its Zabierzów, Poland center. The company partnered with Interlake Mecalux to connect its warehouse directly to production and improve the flow of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products using AS/RS trilateral stacker cranes and pallet conveyor systems.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a fully automated warehouse with three aisles, trilateral stacker cranes, and a conveyor circuit linking the facility to production across three conveyor levels. The solution provides 791-pallet capacity in 33-foot-high racks, real-time inventory control with Easy WMS, and faster, error-free handling of materials, helping SMA Magnetics optimize space, streamline operations, and support on-time deliveries.
