Case Study: TAL achieves efficient, automated warehouse operations with Interlake Mecalux

A Interlake Mecalux Case Study

TAL an Automated Warehouse Shining Through and Through

TAL, a Belgian manufacturer of high-end lighting systems and accessories, needed to modernize its logistics to support growth, omnichannel retail, and safer, more efficient operations. Its former warehouse was overloaded and fully manual, making it difficult to optimize space, reduce errors, and keep up with demand.

Interlake Mecalux implemented an automated warehouse for boxes managed by Easy WMS, along with pallet and cantilever racks for larger items. The solution enabled TAL to store 6,300 boxes and more than 1,000 pallets in a compact footprint, while the miniload stacker crane handles up to 80 boxes per hour and put-to-light picking helps achieve 99.5% correct-order rates, improving productivity, traceability, and inventory control.
