Symta Pièces, a French distributor of tractor and agricultural machinery spare parts, needed to increase the productivity of its distribution center as order volumes grew. The company wanted a better way to store and handle small parts, which had previously been kept on pallets and took up too much space. Interlake Mecalux provided a miniload AS/RS for boxes, together with its Easy WMS warehouse management system.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a fully automated, product-to-person storage solution with stacker cranes, conveyors, double-deep racking, and Easy WMS integration with Symta Pièces’ ERP. The system stores up to 3,000 boxes in a single aisle, supports faster picking and dispatch, and delivers real-time inventory control and traceability, while eliminating manual errors and improving supply chain performance.
