Startévo Storage Solutions for Training Future Professionals

Startévo, a training center in Leulinghem, France, needed a realistic warehouse environment to prepare apprentices for logistics careers using the same storage methods and workflows they would find in local companies. To address this challenge, it partnered with Interlake Mecalux and equipped its facility with a mix of pallet racks, drive-in racks, pallet flow racks, semi-automated Pallet Shuttle racks, picking locations, and Easy WMS warehouse management software.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a practical training warehouse that lets students perform real operations such as receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, inventory checks, and safety inspections while learning to use warehouse software and scanners. The result has been highly effective training for more than 2,500 people, with Startévo reporting that the system is intuitive, user-friendly, and well suited to preparing future logistics professionals.
