Smart Management of the Heidelberg Printing Components and Equipment Warehouse

Heidelberg, the printing industry supplier, needed to modernize its logistics and gain better control of a warehouse managing 1,933 SKUs, with fast, error-free order fulfillment and improved stock management. To address this challenge, Heidelberg chose Interlake Mecalux and its Easy WMS warehouse management system for its Barcelona warehouse.

Interlake Mecalux implemented Easy WMS alongside high pallet racking, giving Heidelberg real-time inventory visibility, smarter slotting, and optimized picking routes. The system helped the company improve operator performance, simplify inventory management, and prepare 50 to 55 orders per day while receiving 50 pallets daily and distributing around 30 pallets a day, supporting Heidelberg’s continued growth.
