Shad Chooses the Interlake Mecalux Software to Expand Internationally

Shad, a leading European maker of motorcycle seats and luggage, needed a warehouse management system that could support rapid growth, tighter stock control, and a multi-warehouse structure across different locations. Vendor Interlake Mecalux supplied Easy WMS to replace a basic setup that could no longer handle Shad’s location-based rules or expansion plans.

Interlake Mecalux implemented the latest version of Easy WMS in Shad’s traditional warehouses in Barcelona, while the automated warehouse continued running on its existing system. The rollout was done progressively to avoid disrupting operations, and the result was real-time inventory visibility, better slotting, faster and more accurate order fulfillment, and improved use of storage space by identifying partially full containers. Shad now manages 1,370 SKUs across its warehouses, receives more than 30 pallets and 40 SKUs per day, and ships over 400 order lines daily from the automated facility.
