Preview of the Atosa Case Study

Selective Pallet Racking With Wire Shelves and a Conveyor Circuit Multiply Picking Efficiency in a Major Toy Manufacturer

Atosa, a family-run toy manufacturer, needed to equip its new logistics center in Marseille, France, to combine high storage capacity with fast, efficient order picking. Interlake Mecalux supported the project with a warehouse solution designed to handle a wide range of small, lightweight products and support the company’s growth across central Europe.

Interlake Mecalux installed selective pallet racking with mesh shelving, a sorting and order consolidation area, and a conveyor circuit to streamline picking, order finishing, and dispatch. The result is an integrated warehouse with direct product access, improved safety, and faster order preparation, with measurable capacity including 312 pallets, 2,400 picking positions, 30-foot-high racks, 133-foot rack runs, and 220 feet of conveyors moving at 148 feet per minute.
