Saccheria Franceschetti the Italian Sack and Big bag Manufacturer Expands Its Storage Capacity With the Installation of Movirack Mobile Racking

Saccheria F.lli Franceschetti, an Italian manufacturer and seller of sacks, big bags, and FIBC packaging materials, needed to expand storage capacity at its production center in Provaglio d’Iseo while maintaining direct access to pallets for efficient operations. To support its growth, the company turned to Interlake Mecalux and its Movirack mobile pallet racking system.

Interlake Mecalux installed a high-density Movirack solution with six double mobile racks and two static end racks, occupying 6,781 ft² and storing 1,528 pallets of 35” x 47” up to 1,100 lbs each. The system eliminated aisles to maximize space while still providing direct pallet access, faster stock handling, and strong safety features such as photocell barriers and controlled rack movement.
