Roi Was Able to Maximize the Efficiency of Its Facility

ROi, a healthcare supply organization founded by Mercy Healthcare, needed to expand its custom procedure tray (CPT) operations after outgrowing its previous 30,000 ft² facility in Springfield, Missouri. To support rapid growth in medical kit preparation, ROi worked with Interlake Mecalux and LD Systems to design a new logistics center in Republic, Missouri, dedicated to the receipt, assembly, and distribution of medical and pharmaceutical materials.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a multi-solution storage system including a three-level pick module, selective pallet racks, push-back racks, and pallet flow racks. The new setup tripled ROi’s kit output, reduced labor costs per material pick by 30%, and improved picking accuracy by 20%, while also making the operation scalable for expected future growth.
