Roboticized Warehouse With More Than 1,000 Pallet Dispatches a Day

Laboratorios Maverick, part of the Ubesol Group and a specialist in hygiene and personal care products, needed to modernize its Tarragona logistics operations to keep pace with fast growth and rising demand. To support higher volumes and more efficient order handling, it worked with Interlake Mecalux on an automated warehouse and integrated warehouse management system.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a roboticised clad-rack warehouse for finished goods, pallet racking for raw and flammable materials, live pallet racking for prepared orders, and a sequencing buffer, all managed by Mecalux Easy WMS. The result was a highly automated operation that can dispatch more than 1,000 pallets a day, prepare orders in just 30 minutes, and cut order prep and delivery times by more than half while improving lorry load optimization and reducing logistics costs.
