Case Study: Grégoire-Besson boosts picking productivity with Interlake Mecalux warehouse solutions

A Interlake Mecalux Case Study

Preview of the Grégoire Besson Case Study

Peak Picking Productivity at Grégoire Besson

Grégoire Besson, the French farm technology equipment manufacturer, needed to expand storage capacity and better organize a wide range of parts by size and turnover at its new 4,500 m² distribution centre in Saint Germain sur Moine. To meet these requirements, Interlake Mecalux proposed a solution combining automated miniload storage, pallet racking, and cantilever racking, along with Easy WMS warehouse management software.

Interlake Mecalux equipped the facility with three tailored storage systems to improve picking speed and inventory control: cantilever racking for long and bulky items, pallet racking for palletized goods, and a miniload warehouse for small parts. The result was faster, more efficient order preparation, improved safety and stock management, and the ability to store 4,400 pallets plus 10,064 boxes of small items.
