Genta S.n.c., an Italian logistics operator specializing in the storage and transportation of empty bottles and bottled beverages, needed a way to manage very high daily pallet volumes while keeping products under control and avoiding mistakes. To support fast, accurate distribution for customers in Italy and worldwide, the company turned to Interlake Mecalux and its Pallet Shuttle-based storage solution.

Interlake Mecalux equipped the new distribution center with four blocks of high-density racking using the semi-automatic Pallet Shuttle system, plus pallet racks, maximizing the warehouse’s height and available surface. The installation delivers storage for 7,075 pallets, streamlines daily inflows of 2,500 to 3,000 pallets, and supports FIFO rotation for better product control and faster dispatches.
