Omnichannel Warehouse Divided Into Three Floors Connected Automatically

Mephisto, the French footwear manufacturer with more than 900 stores and an expanding e-commerce operation, needed to modernize an aging 193,750 ft² warehouse to support its omnichannel strategy. The challenge was to manage 35,000 SKUs, speed up order preparation, and improve efficiency for B2C and store replenishment flows.

Interlake Mecalux installed pallet racks, picking shelves, conveyors, and pallet and box lifts to connect Mephisto’s three warehouse floors and streamline goods movement. The new setup tripled useful storage space and helped Mephisto prepare and dispatch up to 3,500 orders per day, with faster picking, better organization, and reduced operator movement.
