A Interlake Mecalux Case Study
Libus, a maker of personal protection equipment in Berazategui, Argentina, needed more warehouse space to support growing production and future expansion. Its existing storage facility for finished goods was too small and could not handle rising volumes, so the company turned to Interlake Mecalux for a solution.
Interlake Mecalux built a 17 m-high clad-rack warehouse connected to Libus’s production centre, using single-depth pallet racks with five narrow aisles and nine storage levels. The new facility provides storage for 2,340 pallets in just 800 m², streamlines the flow of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products, and allowed Libus to improve logistics without interrupting customer service.
