Natura Bissé an Automated Warehouse for Beautifying Logistics

Natura Bissé, the Spanish cosmetics manufacturer, needed to bring all of its previously outsourced inventory in-house and gain tighter control over 2,200 SKUs while connecting storage directly with production. To solve this logistics challenge, it turned to Interlake Mecalux for a customized automated warehousing solution, including Easy WMS warehouse management software.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a tailor-made automated warehouse in a pit beneath the production area, with two aisles for finished products and components, conveyors, a bidirectional pallet lift, and additional non-automated storage areas. The result was a highly space-efficient operation with 2,267 pallet locations in the automated warehouse, faster and more flexible production planning, reduced logistics costs, and real-time traceability across all inventory.
