Miguélez Latest-generation Technology for the Supply of Electric Cables

Miguélez, a worldwide leader in low- and medium-voltage electric cables in Spain, needed to centralize operations, improve inventory control, and support its international growth while handling highly varied cable packaging and product types. To meet this challenge, the company partnered with Interlake Mecalux and implemented automated storage and warehouse management solutions, including Easy WMS, to manage receipt, cutting, storage, order preparation, packaging, and distribution.

Interlake Mecalux installed two automated warehouses, pallet racking, conveyors, pick stations, and Easy WMS to coordinate three picking methods across drums, reels, boxes, and pallets. The result was a more efficient, error-free logistics operation with higher productivity, greater storage capacity, and faster order fulfillment, enabling Miguélez to deliver cable quickly and accurately while managing more than 1,500 SKUs and 38,500 tons of annual production.
