Maximum Swiftness and the Full Use of Space in the New Automated Warehouse With Pallet Shuttles at UNITED CAPS in Luxembourg

UNITED CAPS, a Luxembourg-based leader in plastic caps and closures, needed to expand storage capacity at its Wiltz production plant while maintaining fast access to a wide range of SKUs and supporting strong goods flow. To meet this challenge, Interlake Mecalux designed a high-density automated warehouse using the Pallet Shuttle system, along with warehouse management software.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a four-level automated warehouse with two stacker cranes, a transfer car, conveyor circuits, and Easy WMS software to control operations end to end. The result was a highly automated facility with capacity for 5,507 pallets in about 25,618 ft², enabling greater throughput, reduced errors, and efficient management of all inbound, storage, and outbound processes.
