Apymsa, a leading Mexican distributor of spare parts for cars and heavy-duty vehicles, needed a warehouse that could keep pace with rapid growth and support agile order picking across a very large SKU base. Interlake Mecalux designed a solution for its Guadalajara facility that combined high-rise picking blocks, pallet racking, conveyors, and an automated sorter.

Interlake Mecalux implemented two triple-level picking blocks, pallet racking on both sides of the warehouse, a conveyor circuit, and an eight-chute sorter to streamline preparation and classification of orders. The result was a highly efficient logistics center with storage for 10,000 pallets and about 1.5 million boxes in a 2.5-acre area, improving productivity, speeding up picking, and boosting throughput.
