LAR Increased Speed and Capacity With Three Compact Systems

LAR, a thermoplastic resins manufacturer in Campogalliano, Italy, was expanding its production plant and needed to enlarge and renovate its warehouse to manage 108 SKUs of semi-finished and finished products more efficiently. To support this growth, Interlake Mecalux provided a storage solution tailored to LAR’s need to maximize space and handle goods by turnover and product type.

Interlake Mecalux installed three compact storage systems: Movirack mobile racking for semi-finished goods, plus drive-in and pallet flow racking for finished products. The combined solution increased total storage capacity to 3,165 pallets, enabled LAR to distribute 250 pallets per day, and cut pallet loading and unloading time by 50%, while also ensuring safe, efficient warehouse operations.
