La Piamontesa, a leading food company in Argentina, needed more space to store growing volumes of finished meat products without resorting to off-site warehouses. To solve this challenge, the company turned to Interlake Mecalux and its automated storage technology for a new cold-store facility next to production in Brinkmann.
Interlake Mecalux implemented an automated clad-rack warehouse managed by Easy WMS, using a Pallet Shuttle system with stacker crane to handle refrigerated goods efficiently and with full traceability. The solution delivers continuous goods flow, supports 2,415 pallets in just 7,535 ft², and helps reduce logistics and energy costs while giving La Piamontesa real-time control over perishable inventory and batches.
