How Sanmar’s New Garment Distribution Center Relied on Old Friends for Pallet Racking Results

SanMar, a wholesale garment distributor, needed to expand its warehouse capacity and improve fulfillment speed as it grew beyond its original Dallas facility. To support high-volume, fast-turn inventory and keep operations running during construction, the company turned to Interlake Mecalux for a pallet racking solution.

Interlake Mecalux, working through partner RH Brown, installed high-rise narrow-aisle pallet racking with z-beam bracing designed for SanMar’s 38-foot-high storage needs. The new layout organized products by rotation and picking type, improved safety and storage control, and helped SanMar increase daily turnover to more than four times what it achieved in the original Dallas facility.
