Hero Group Upgrades Its Thystore Wms With Easy Wms From Mecalux

Hero Group, through its Hero Spain operation in Alcantarilla, needed to replace its outdated ThyStore warehouse management software, which ran on Windows XP and was becoming difficult to support and maintain. The company wanted a modern WMS that could keep up with its logistics growth without disrupting ongoing warehouse operations.

Interlake Mecalux implemented Easy WMS in seven controlled stages, including functional analysis, system configuration, testing with the conveyor control system and SAP ERP, simulations, and on-site commissioning. The result was a smooth migration with no interruption to receiving or dispatch, improved stock control and FIFO management, and a highly productive operation handling 2,500 pallet movements per day, with storage for 30,720 pallets and 1,500 SKUs.
