Groupe Bert, a French logistics provider, needed to maximize storage capacity at its new 7.4-acre headquarters in Albon while handling a wide variety of products, including bulky goods and large volumes of single-SKU pallets. The company turned to Interlake Mecalux for a storage solution that could fit nearly 24,000 pallets on as little surface area as possible.

Interlake Mecalux equipped the facility with pallet racks, cantilever racks, and a semi-automatic Pallet Shuttle system. The result was the ability to store 23,264 pallets in about 86,000 ft²—using 73% less floor space than the previous pallet-rack setup—while also improving productivity, flexibility, and goods management for more than 5,000 SKUs.
