Gerresheimer expands Peachtree City storage by 2 automated warehouses with Interlake Mecalux

The customer, Gerresheimer, a global provider for the pharma and biotech industries, needed to optimize the management of medical devices at its US facility to meet rising demand and ensure total traceability. To address this, the company partnered with vendor Interlake Mecalux to automate its logistics operations with a warehouse management system.

Interlake Mecalux implemented two automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) supervised by its Easy WMS. This solution provided a total storage capacity for 2,144 pallets and automated material flows, resulting in maximum accuracy, safety, and a significant boost in productivity. The project strengthened Gerresheimer's operational capacity and consolidated its leadership in the North American market.
