A Interlake Mecalux Case Study
Gémo, a French fashion retailer and subsidiary of the Eram group, needed a warehouse able to handle a wide variety of SKUs, product sizes and weights while also speeding up order picking. To meet these needs, Gémo turned to **Interlake Mecalux** for a storage and picking solution built around pallet shuttle racking, conventional pallet racking, and shelving for manual picking.
**Interlake Mecalux** divided the Beaulieu-sur-Layon logistics center into three storage cells and installed high-density Pallet Shuttle racks, pallet racking, and M7 shelving with a picking area. The setup delivered a total storage capacity of 19,808 pallets, plus 550 picking levels, helping Gémo significantly reduce pallet handling time, increase storage density, and streamline picking operations across a wide range of products.
