Forma 5, an office furniture manufacturer based near Seville, Spain, needed to keep up with just-in-time production of more than 425 complete workstations per day while controlling a huge volume of inventory across raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished products. To improve supply chain visibility and coordination with its 35 nearby suppliers, the company implemented Easy WMS, the warehouse management system from Interlake Mecalux.

With Interlake Mecalux’s Easy WMS connected bidirectionally to Forma 5’s ERP and supplier warehouses, the company gained real-time inventory control, precise picking guidance and end-to-end traceability across its 63 assembly stations and dispatch operations. The solution helped Forma 5 optimize space and flows, eliminate errors from manual handling, and keep production running without interruption, supporting the daily distribution of about 14 truckloads and the manufacture of furniture for customers in 60 countries.
