Elektro3's Logistics Operations Are Designed and Prepared to Handle Annual Growth of 44%

ELEKTRO3, a Spain-based hardware, DIY, household appliance, and gardening products company, faced rapid growth of 44% a year and the challenge of expanding its Tarragona logistics center to handle more than 14,000 SKUs, high daily order volume, and a need for fast, accurate fulfillment. To support this expansion, ELEKTRO3 worked with Interlake Mecalux to install a highly space-efficient storage system tailored to its varied product range.

Interlake Mecalux implemented narrow-aisle pallet racking with direct access for picking, five storage levels, and wire-guided VNA trucks to maximize space and improve handling. The solution provides capacity for 21,000 pallets in 30-foot-high racks and helps ELEKTRO3 prepare around 1,000 orders per day, or 4.5 million order lines annually, while delivering Iberian Peninsula orders within 24 hours.
