E.leclerc Four Warehouses for Picking 110,000 Skus

E.Leclerc, the French supermarket chain, needed to expand storage capacity and streamline order preparation across its Tourlaville operation while managing a very large SKU count for hypermarkets, books, and online sales. To meet this challenge, it turned to Interlake Mecalux for a warehouse fit-out including pallet racks, picking shelves with walkways, mezzanine floors, and conveyors.

Interlake Mecalux designed four picking warehouses that make maximum use of the available space and provide direct access to products for faster, more accurate picking. The solution now manages close to 110,000 SKUs, improves operator movement and order consolidation, and helped E.Leclerc cut costs, boost productivity, and avoid moving to a larger warehouse.
