Easy WMS Optimizes the Resources in the Warehouse, From Storage Systems to the Work of the Operators

Intersurgical, a UK-based multinational specializing in respiratory care medical devices, needed a more robust and flexible logistics operation to manage more than 3,000 SKUs, rising order volumes, and the strict traceability required for medical products. To address these challenges, the company turned to Interlake Mecalux and its Easy WMS warehouse management system.

Interlake Mecalux implemented Easy WMS at Intersurgical’s Wokingham warehouse, integrating it with the EFACS ERP to control inventory in real time, optimize receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch, and guide operators with zone-based workflows. The result was tighter goods control, fewer errors, improved productivity, and the ability to handle up to 500 orders per day and around 175 pallets received daily while maintaining full traceability across 5,927 storage locations.
