Dufry Direct Access and Massive Storage of 30,000 Skus

Dufry, a global travel retailer, needed a well-organized warehouse in Miami, Florida to manage 30,000 SKUs and handle high inbound and outbound pallet volume. Working with Interlake Mecalux and partner Andersen Material Handling, the company sought a storage solution that could provide direct access to a very diverse product mix while maximizing space in a 150,000 ft² facility.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a combination of bolted selective pallet racking and high-density push-back racking, giving Dufry 9,200-pallet capacity with direct access and deep-storage efficiency. The solution helped increase storage capacity by more than 20 percent and support about 300 pallets moved per day, while improving order preparation and stock control.
