Case Study: Danone achieves smarter omnichannel warehouse operations with Interlake Mecalux

A Interlake Mecalux Case Study

Preview of the Danone Case Study

Danone’s Warehouse for the Infant and Medical Nutrition Product Line in Madrid

Danone, the global food and beverage company, needed to manage a complex omnichannel distribution centre in Valdemoro, Spain, handling 500–600 SKUs and up to 700 orders per day across retail, wholesale and e-commerce channels. To support this high-paced operation, the company turned to Interlake Mecalux and its Easy WMS warehouse management software, along with the Multi Carrier Shipping and Supply Chain Analytics modules.

Interlake Mecalux implemented Easy WMS to control receiving, storage, picking and dispatch, optimize slotting and pick routes, and provide real-time traceability of goods and pallets. The solution also automated e-commerce carrier communication and data analysis, helping Danone improve efficiency, reduce errors and better manage around 150 online orders daily, while supporting up to 700 orders per day overall with more streamlined and flexible operations.
