A Interlake Mecalux Case Study
Tamer, a major logistics operator in Saudi Arabia, needed to expand its storage and distribution capabilities to keep pace with growing demand and manage more than 200 SKUs across a 32,600 m2 warehouse in Jeddah. The company’s challenge was to handle diverse product types, high inbound volumes, and efficient order fulfillment, while maintaining access to fast-moving and expiry-sensitive goods.
Interlake Mecalux, working with Alshaya, designed a multi-solution warehouse combining pallet racks, a high-density Pallet Shuttle system, push-back racks, and live channels for picking. The setup delivers 22,706-pallet capacity, supports around 700 incoming pallets and 440 orders per day, and improves picking and replenishment speed through a dedicated order-fulfillment zone and dense storage layout.
