Fruvemex, a leading Mexican manufacturer of refrigerated and frozen fruit and vegetable products, needed additional cold storage capacity to support its growth at its Rosarito production center in Baja California. It turned to Interlake Mecalux to design a storage solution that would maximize space efficiency while keeping chilled and frozen products at the right temperature.

Interlake Mecalux implemented three clad-rack cold storage installations with double-depth racking, interconnected for efficient product movement and shared loading/unloading docks. The solution delivered a total storage capacity of 5,728 pallets, reduced energy use by minimizing unused space, and left the first installation ready for future expansion.
