Citres Earthquake Proof Racking and Agile Goods Management

Citres, an Italian producer and exporter of preserves, needed a warehouse solution that would maximize storage capacity while providing direct access for fast storage and order picking. Because its facility is in a seismic region near Verona, the company also required racking that could safely withstand ground movement. Interlake Mecalux supplied the storage system for this challenge.

Interlake Mecalux installed seismic pallet racking at Citres’ Bovolone warehouse, including two single-deep and eight double-deep units with five levels and capacity for 3,204 pallets. The solution improved stock control, sped up handling of nearly 200 pallets a day, and supported high product traceability for food operations, helping Citres increase throughput and warehouse efficiency while meeting seismic safety requirements.
