Automated Frozen Meat Storage Chamber for Cárnicas Chamberí

Cárnicas Chamberí, a Spanish meat company with more than 40 years of experience, needed to expand its frozen storage logistics in Toledo while maintaining product quality, cold-chain integrity, and tighter control over fast-moving inventory. To meet these goals, the company turned to Interlake Mecalux for an automated storage solution, using the Pallet Shuttle system and warehouse management software.

Interlake Mecalux designed and commissioned an automated frozen warehouse with a single aisle, double-deep high-density racking, and Easy WMS to manage incoming, storage, and outbound flows. The solution now stores up to 1,815 pallets at -20 ºC, reduces cooling demand, and streamlines operations by handling an average of 120 pallet entries and 150 exits per day, improving speed, organization, and delivery responsiveness.
