Armazém Mateus, a Brazilian distribution and storage company serving the Grupo Mateus businesses, needed a very large, efficient warehouse system to handle growing national demand and a wide variety of SKUs. Interlake Mecalux was selected to equip its Davinópolis distribution centre with pallet racking designed for high-capacity storage and fast order picking.

Interlake Mecalux implemented a single-depth pallet racking system with 104 aisles, 7 storage levels, and direct access for rapid handling and stock control. The solution provides 91,366 pallet positions and supports efficient picking and replenishment with reach trucks and order pickers, while also meeting local fire safety regulations through integrated detection and sprinkler systems.
