A Rack Supported Warehouse for the Lakma Chemicals Company

Lakma Strefa, a Polish chemical products manufacturer with a growing distribution network across the EU, needed to expand storage and speed up logistics to support faster national and international deliveries. To meet this challenge, the company turned to Interlake Mecalux for a new fully automated warehouse solution built around the Easy WMS warehouse management system.

Interlake Mecalux delivered the Multisoft logistics centre in Warszowice, a 32 m high clad-rack warehouse with four aisles of double-deep racks and capacity for 15,428 pallets. The system streamlined receiving, storage, picking, and dispatching, helping Lakma Strefa reach workflows of 162 pallets/hour while improving productivity, goods management, and reducing personnel and maintenance costs.
